Ole Jensen: Classifying the Vitamins

(jiří macek) I have no idea whether the classification of vitamins helps our health in any way. However, Ole Jensen has decided to clean his table even in this respect. The Vitamin Container Bowl is an earthenware bowl designed for the young Danish brand of Muuto. It consists of three cells linked into one shape – a cell for fruit, a cell for vegetables, and a cell for fresh spices.

This is the way the designer perceives the possibilities of this bowl. However, the user does not have to follow these instructions and is free to use the bowl as he/she pleases. Ole Jensen currently ranks among the most respected Danish designers and tries, as he claims, to continue in the best traditions of Scandinavian design. The implementations he carried out for Muuto are minimalist, functional, yet human and playful; they are also not always made from earthenware. Thus, he perfectly fits into the Muuto portfolio. Even though the brand appeared on the market only a year ago, it has already become one of our favourites. One should not be cool towards its collection of furniture pieces and accessories. One can find its products in the Hotový interiér showroom on the Czech market.
