(jiří macek) Big Game, the Swiss-Belgian-French designer trio, has provided us with surprising and peculiar products for a relatively long time. Even though the designers have recently moved from ready-made concepts to simple minimalist lines, their world is not boring at all. Have a look at the catalogue of our favorite French brand of Moustache.
The grand era of Big Game started in 2004 when Greoire Jeanmonod (CH), Elric Petit (B), and Augustin Scott de Martinville (F) met. The studio currently splits its operations between offices in the Swiss city of Lausanne and Brussels in Belgium. But let us say a few words about their collection for Moustache.
Although they first implemented some of their older designs (chairs), the Bold and Mikro coat racks and a trapeze, i.e. the Link chandelier, belong solely to the present. All fans of Fanfan La Tulipe and his duels would like to swing on a chandelier - the Link chandelier by Big Game is designed along the lines of this fantasy. Its latest version represents an encounter between flying acrobats or an airy circus tent full of lines. Things in simple boxes, coats hung on plush Bold lines and Mikro lumps on walls and reified bold sketches of Bold chairs endows our lives with lightness. Thus, it was very easy to fly, at least in the world of big games with clear rules served to us by Big Game with the lightness of Tim Burton. It is really beautiful.
