(jiří macek) Would you like to stop time in the middle of a summer holiday? Under the FormaFantasma brand, Andre Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, fresh graduates from the Master studies program at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, have designed a clock for Droog Design that is a symbol of time and its everlasting value.
Like with Russian dolls, time is concealed in the very heart of Clock Inlays, in the darkest chamber. One must undertake a journey in order to find it. The inlaid chest of drawers where the clock is hidden represents a family of inlaid jewelry boxes in which one can touch the rich past of boules as well as its decline, change, and inappropriateness. The Italian duo of designers, who have collaborated since 2006, presented the Clock Inlays project at the Droog Design installation in Milan this year.
