Studio Job, Viktor & Rolf: Dresses for Roisin Murphy

(jana zielinski) Viktor & Rolf presented its new spring/summer 2010 collection, entitled Pedestal Collection, in Paris at the beginning of October. The name may be derived from a pedestal designed by Studio Job that served as a catwalk for the famous Roisin Murphy, who is pregnant.

“Studio Job and Viktor & Rolf cherish a long friendship. When our creative paths cross, we enjoy working together. Jewelry, prints, furniture and now new designs for runway.,“ say Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel of Studio Job, whom we know very well from last year’s Designblok. The gorgeous globe, strewn with glistening stones, as well as the marble pedestal for Roisin, have become an amazing background for a no less amazing collection. Moreover, they were presented with the accompaniment of Roisin Murphy’s magical voice. Perhaps, one cannot expect more from a fashion show.
