(jana zielinski) Driade – the company that had the most beautiful showroom in Milan with walls full of frescos – presented its new collection of accessories, dominated by gorgeous metal bowls by Fabio Novembre inspired by such Italian architectural icons.
Whereas oranges would fit really well in the Campidoglio bowl, bananas would look much better in Florence. The gorgeous metal baskets and bowls that were made from the leaves and boughs of various trees were designed for this year’s Driade collection by the Indian Sikh Mann Singh. He bestowed upon the collection the mysterious name of Shalemar. He played with the significance trees have in Indian mythology, demonstrating that nature clearly wins over geometry. However, in case this was not enough for you, Bořek Šípek also presented the Antoinetta candlestick.
Exceptionally beautiful and witty - Driade…
