(jiří macek) Belligerently coiled vipers and seven friendly rats embellish the new collection by Ingo Maurer. What are we talking about? - The new light collection by the legendary king of lights.
Ingo Maurer never stops providing light with unexpected dimensions, experimenting with technology and forms. Moreover, he is always witty. If the black snakes with yellow zigzag lines hanging from the ceiling (or belligerently looming from the floor) were not such splendid lights, they might easily have become a real nightmare. Instead of forked tongues, an intense light radiates out of their mouths that can be easily directed at any desired object. This collection of technologically perfect lamps is laconically called AlizzCooper and is able to provide character to any interior. The light thus becomes a surprisingly vital element living its own life, something that is also the case with many of the lights designed by Ingo Maurer. Moreover, there is one welcome side effect from AlizzCooper. One will find that snakes, especially those from Ingo Maurer, are cuddlier pets than cats. Combine them with the Seven Rats light by Ingo Maurer (with its seven rats glimmering in golden cages) and you will experience a lot of fun.
Lights by Ingo Maurera are sold by Artemide-Selene.in the Czech Republic.
